A COVID-19 patient’s fear for her parents’ safety takes her back from New York and into the heartlands to help Singapore’s elderly. Shocked when he’s suddenly cut loose from his job, an engineer must overcome his perceived limitations to get back up the corporate ladder. When the pandemic threatens his workers’ livelihoods, a 3D printer makes an unusual move to protect their jobs – by producing face masks. As the economy buckles under the onslaught of COVID-19 and company internships disappear, a university student takes a flying leap into social media – with hilarious results.
